It's Kendrick Lamar's Fault That Nicki Minaj + Meek Mill Hooked Up

In an interview with GQ, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill revealed the exact moment they started feeling each other.

When was this, you ask? When Kendrick Lamar sent the whole hip hop culture into a frenzy when he bodied "Control" with his epic verse.

Nicki recalls it well. "When [Meek] came to LA we had only been speaking about rap sh-t, talking about the Kendrick verse and stuff at that time. And I was just like, 'Yeah, you need to do this, you need to that…'"

"She was telling me to bomb everybody," Meek added.

"Shut up," Nic playfully clapped back. "I was just telling him to be confident as an artist because I liked his music, etc. And then he came down to LA and we went to the studio and after that I didn't see him for a very long time. We shot a video and I think probably around that time I was like, 'Oh, he's cool.'"

So it looks like K. Dot's King of New York proclamation gave true love to the Queen of New York. Just another reason hip hop is the beez kneez.
