Yas Girl of the Week: 'American Horror Story' Star Jamie Brewer
Jamie Brewer, of American Horror Story fame, is making headlines as the first model with Down syndrome to walk at New York Fashion Week. The actress and activist took a turn strutting on the runway for designer Carrie Hammer in her "Role Models Not Runway Models" show, which featured a variety of powerful women. Jamie's been tweeting photos of herself backstage, looking glam and excited. “Young girls and even young women… [see me] and say ‘Hey, if she can do it so can I,'" she told Today Style. “It’s a true inspiration being a role model for any young women to [encourage them] in being who they are and showing who they are.” Jamie looked incredible and is a real inspiration. Yas, girl!
