Bruno Mars Jams Out to Elvis Presley While Taking Over 'Carpool Karaoke'
Bruno Mars has been everywhere since his album 24K Magic dropped, and now he's getting the Carpool Karaoke treatment. During Tuesday night’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the “Uptown Funk” singer hitched a ride with the host for his first appearance on the fan-favorite segment. The duo sang a over a dozen Mars songs – "24K Magic," "Locked Out of Heaven," "Grenade," "Versace on the Floor," "If I Knew," "Uptown Funk" and "Perm" – and had hilarious banter about Elvis Presley, romantic tips, and Mars' casual silk attire.
"If I was wearing that level of silk, I would think I would be happy as well. If I could dress like that all day, every day, I'd be over the moon," Corden said. "It's a very breathable fabric," Mars jokingly counters. Later on in the segment, Mars opens up about his history with impersonating Elvis at a 1950s revue, sparking an impromptu rendition of "Jailhouse Rock." Prepare to jam out for the next 15-minutes.
