Moniece Slaughter posted a photo last night, flipping the bird, and asking Cisco Rosado if she "looked like Mariah[Lynn]." Was this because Rich and Cisco mentioned Moniece on last night's Love & Hip Hop?
As fans, commenters, and haters went in on Moniece (including seemingly someone who manages Mariah's career now,) the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star clarified that the post *wasn't* meant for MariahLynn, writing,
Wait, wait so you thought I'd work with her? Hehehehe that's funny. I am extremely dope! That we can agree on. And this post wasn't for her. And pulled the rug from under that as if that was going to be beneficial to me? I'd be enhancing her sound and integrating REAL TALENT & REAL MUSIC with the complete opposite. I don't back track. I may not have 2million views but I'm okay with my little 123k that recognize and appreciate a MUSICIAN. That recognize high class visuals that are done right. Mariah is not. So, with all that being said; I never would have collaborated with such filth. But you have my word from here on out that I won't be assisting her on her quest for popularity and sales ever again. We could go back and forth all day. I'm a MUSICIAN. As a MUSICIAN I speak for all of us....She is trash. Now that we established that, I think you did an amazing job making her appealing to the masses. But we both know that the masses are wishy washy when her season ends they won't care and they'll be on to something else. Make her study the CRAFT the ART and then make her appealing to a demo that will rock with her forever. I can name plenty of rappers who are and will always be legendary because they understand MUSIC in it's entirety. Diddy, Jay-Z, Pharrell, Q-Tip, Mos Def, Nas. They are all musicians. So I'll make you a deal. When Mariah can sit at a board and PRODUCE her own record (song) meaning she can pick her bpm, she can say what key her chords should be in, sit down at a drum set and lay her own drum pattern, her chords on the strings, her high hats, snares, claps, 808s, adjust her levels, can tell when her vocals are louder than the track & vice versa, when she can run her own session without an engineer like I can, I will absolutely sing my face off on her record. As an artist and musician I run circles around her and her abilities. not worth my time or talent!
