This Video of a Mom Fighting Off the Man Who Attempts to Abduct Her Daughter Will Terrify You

People are terrifying.

A surveillance video of a mom fighting off a man who attempted to kidnap her daughter is making its way around the Internet, and it will send shivers down your spine.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning (June 7) at the Dollar General Store in Hernando, Florida. A mother and her 13-year-old daughter were shopping when 30-year-old Craig Bonello grabbed the girl and started dragging her out of the store.

The clip shows the girl kicking and screaming as Bonello attempts to abduct her, but it's her mother who really saves the day. The mom quickly sprung into action, chasing after Bonello and eventually jumping on top of her daughter to save her.

A local Florida outlet reports the video is muted and you can't hear the screaming that was coming from the mom, daughter and store manager. (It was the store manager who shouted to off-duty Deputy Jonathan Behnen--who was standing outside the store--to detain Bonello.)

Citrus County has Bonello in custody. He faces child abuse and kidnapping charges. Watch the chilling events unfold in the clip above.
