Big Ang Makes Her First Public Statement Since Her Surgery And Thanks Fans For Support

Big Ang has been quietly recovering in private for these past two weeks since having a cancerous tumor removed from her throat, and last night she made her first public statement since the surgery. In an Instagram post to her fans, she thanked her loyal fans and family for their support, as well as the doctors caring for her. Also helping with her spirits, the fact that her son AJ and his girlfriend Gaby just gave birth to their second child last night, a boy named Robert John. We're thrilled to hear from Ang and that she's having a beautiful, positive recovery. You can read her full statement to her fans here:

Hello my loves. THIS is what my first post on Instagram needs to be after my time away. I want to take a moment to thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart for all of your love, concern, thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and helpful notes from experiences from those of you who dealt with the same ordeal I've faced. It hasn't been an easy road, but it's comforting knowing you don't have to travel it alone. I have such amazing fans and friends, as well as family, who have been by my side through this whole thing. I have read all of your posts and comments, along with the hundreds of cards that you sent to my sisters store for me. I will try to get back to as many as I can, but just know this, I am expressing my gratitude and feeling as great as I am because of your kind words. I also want to extend my sincerest gratitudes to the doctors and staff of the hospital I was in for their love and care they provided me with during a difficult time. They gave me comfort and strength, as well as hope to get me through it with positive energy. Lastly, and most importantly, above all... THANK YOU GOD! Without you and your healing hand, and answering of prayers, I'm not sure the peace and comfort I experienced would've carried me through this road. Yes I have a long road ahead, but I am on the mend. If I could hug each and everyone of you, I'd squeeze the love out of you. Thank you my babies, you really are the best! xo Big Ang ❤️
