Robin Thicke Has a Special Tribute Planned For His Mom, Gloria Loring, at VH1's 'Dear Mama'
Get your tissues ready now, because the waterworks are coming.
The super suave Robin Thicke will be in attendance at the 2nd annual Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms to put on a tribute for his own mom dukes: Days of Our Lives actress Gloria Loring.
Gloria, no doubt, has many reasons to be proud of her son. The accomplished singer/songwriter has written and produced songs on over 20 gold and platinum albums, including material for Michael Jackson. His 2013 hit "Blurred Lines" featuring Pharrell and T.I. also topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks and claimed the #1 spot on five radio charts - an unheard of accomplishment before him.
Robin's tribute announcement comes on the heels of news that our hosts, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson and entrepreneur La La Anthony will be kicking off this year's festivities.
This year's event is going down at Pasadena's Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in California and will be executive produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit and Jesse Collins Entertainment.
Clear your calendars and catch Dear Mama May 8 on VH1 at 10p.
