Darby Stanchfield Loved Rihanna's 'Scandal' Shout-Out, Is Obviously a Member of the Navy

On Scandal, Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield) has to deal with a lot of crap from a lot of people. She's forced to live up to the incredibly flawless standard set by white hat-wearing Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), and her boss President Grant can't even remember her name. One person who can, however, is badgalriri. And let's be real, does anyone else even matter?

Stanchfield joined Big Morning Buzz Live this AM to chat about Scandal's upcoming midseason finale, and the defining moment of her career thus far: a shout-out from Rihanna. "That was really cool," Stanchfield revealed. "Good ol' Riri."

When pressed for dirt on this week's episode, Stanchfield played coy (maybe there's a love triangle brewing, or maybe it's more like a hexagon). But when it comes to the men in Olivia's life she didn't hold back: "I think [Olivia] should find a new guy," she said. "Just clean shop, like you redo your wardrobe. Just move on."
