Bobby Shmurda Takes Plea Deal for 7 Years in Prison
The deal comes with five years probation.
Two years ago, "Hot N——a" was rising up the charts and Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda was on top of the world. Today, he pled guilty to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon. He will serve seven years in prison and receive five years of probation.
Shmurda was arrested in December 2014, and will get credit for the 20 months he's already served on initial charges that included murder, attempted murder, and narcotics-related activities.
TMZ was in court and captured a photo of Shmurda taking the plea deal.
The young rapper was facing life, so this is marginally better. Stay strong.
