Who Is Going to Own Summer 2016?

The battle for season supreme begins!

Summer 2016 is chock-full of pop culture excitement. From Beyoncé's tour to Finding Dory and the final season of Pretty Little Liars, our heads are spinning over all the things to listen, watch and binge. So, when all is said and done come Labor Day, which celebrity--or show, movie, animated fish, etc.--will be the season supreme? Let the games begin.

In our opinions, these 11 summer entertainment happenings are the most buzzy. Take a gander at 'em, and let us know who you think will own the summer.

Beyoncé

Bey already dominated the first half of 2016 with her spectacular visual album Lemonade, and with The Formation World Tour trekking around the world until September, she won't be stopping any time soon. Cheers to that.

Dory

Everyone's favorite forgetful fish returns in Finding Dory, the sequel to 2003's Finding Nemo. With Ellen DeGeneres lending her pipes (again), Dory will supply copious nostalgic feels. Don't rule her out.

Naked people

When Dating Naked premieres June 29 on VH1, of course.

Britney Spears

After slaying at the Billboard Music Awards May 22, BritBrit has a string of Las Vegas residency dates this summer and a new single slated for an end-of-season release. And when Ms. Spears releases new tunes, it's an event in itself.

The Pretty Little Liars ladies

The seventh (and final) season of Freeform's soapy drama kicks off June 21. We have a feeling Aria and the gang are going out with a bang, so keep an eye out. "A" certainly is.

The all-female Ghostbusters cast

You're going to call Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones when this remake his theaters July 15. The highly-anticipated flick will certainly be a moment, both for nostalgia and feminism. The sheer excitement around this project is enough for it to dominate the summer. And the year.

Russell Wilson and Ciara

They don't have a wedding date set, but rumor has it they want to tie the knot before the NFL season begins in September. If that's the case, their nuptials will make the summer even hotter. Because, well, they're both hot.

Gucci Mane

Guwop is back! After serving three years in federal prison on a probation violation Gucci Mane has returned to the rap game, fifty pounds lighter and ready to own summer '16.

Drake

With 1 million units of Views sold in its first week of release, Drake's summer is off to an amazing start. Like Bey, he'll scorch the stage with his own Summer Sixteen Tour, so expect many viral moments.

JoJo Fletcher

Don't lie: You will be glued to your screen dying to know which blackout grown frat boy Fletcher chooses to ~love~. We certainly will be.

The Suicide Squad members

This gang of crazies will make its debut at the end of the summer. And, you know what they say, save the best (or most evil) for last.
