Maxine Trumps Her 'Lunch Hour' Co-Hosts By Confessing to Plastic Surgery On-Air

A wise man once said that if you own your truth, it can never be used against you. That advice worked wonders for Maxine Robinson in this highlight clip from Daytime Divas.

As the co-hosts settle in for another segment of The Lunch Hour, Maxine takes away Mo's only card left to play by owning the fact that it was cosmetic surgery, not throat surgery, that was to blame for her absence and coma. She continues to woo the audience by claiming that the pressure to look youthful as a TV personality was weighing on her, and the coma was a blessing in disguise which reminded her of how vain a decision it was. Of course, the audience doesn't know that she did, in fact, have the surgery and that she faked her coma... but hey, why bog them down with the details?

"Now I can continue to age the way I always have...naturally and gracefully," Maxine spills to her sympathetic audience as Mo tries to keep her eyes from rolling out of her head. Damn, this woman is good!
