Nobody is above the law, not even rock stars! We mostly just think of their awesome life style, huge paychecks and world-wide adoration, but those hard partying ways can lead to hard time and big trouble. That bad boy image isn't always an act -you'd be surprised how many musicians have done time in the clink. And not just overnights from DUIs, either. We're talking long stretches and serious sentences!
To be honest, we're not sure if that makes us like them more or less. It depends what they were in for, we guess. Obviously many famous folks out there have substance abuse problems to blame (either directly or indirectly) for legal troubles, but that's far from the only reason. Lauryn Hill famously had some serious issues with the IRS, and a large number of stars got busted for weapons possession. Head up to the gallery above for a whopping 35 music greats who traded the VIP bar for prison bars.
