That Time Daniel Radcliffe Dressed Up Like David Bowie

In honor of his spooky new film Horns and his history with wizardry, we asked Daniel Radcliffe to describe the best outfit he's ever worn to a "fancy dress party" — yes, everything is that much more adorable in England. It wasn't a Halloween party as much as it was a Grease-themed bash, but that didn't stop Harry Potter from going as David Bowie.

Radcliffe recalls the time when at 14, he stunned with his likeness to Ziggy Stardust. (Working in the film industry clearly has it's perks; lucky for Daniel, he'll never have to experience the horror of Ricky's in late October.) While we don't have photos of that exact night — which was so much fun he apparently split his pants — we can only imagine he looked something like this Potter twist on Bowie's 1973 Aladdin Sane album cover.
