Can Someone Help Me Understand What Raven-Symoné Is Talking About?
At first I thought Raven-Symoné was saying outlandish s--t on national television to make headlines and wiggle her way back into relevancy. Now, I'm starting to think the poor woman done lost her mind.
This time on The View, the ladies were tackling the topic: "Are you judged by your name?" when Raven straight-up said she would in fact judge someone and refuse to hire them based on their birth name. “I’m not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It’s just not gonna happen!,” she said. Huh?
I swear this happened. Watch it here:
I just. I'm not understanding. Where did she get that from? How did she even come up with that? What is she actually trying to say? Is this English?
I'm also alarmed at her uncontrollable giggles, which are basically saying: "HAHAHA I would totally discriminate against someone for something they have no control over HAHAHA."
Here's me, on the right.
Raven, I'm here for you, and I'm trying. But someone please help me understand.
