Are You Prepared to Hear Adele's "Hello" in the Style of Green Day?
This is next level.
Adele's "Hello" is one of the biggest songs of the year, having broken a boatload of records upon its release. The video gained the most views ever within a 24-hour period and the song shot to number one on iTunes in 102 countries within just three days of its release. You've undoubtedly heard "Hello" and countless covers of it tens of times already, but you haven't heard the song like this.
Anthony Vincent, of minor metal makeover fame, covered Adele's single à la Green Day. Anthony's imitation of the band's style, specifically Billy Joe Armstrong's voice, is so on point, it's alarming. If "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" and "Hello" had a baby, this cover would be it. There is literally no other way to describe it.
Adele is probably bursting into that famous cackle of hers while simultaneously jamming out to this cover in full on rock star mode. Hear Anthony Vincent's Green Day-inspired version of "Hello" here and if you're feeling it, check out his Taylor Swift "Bad Blood" cover below.
