Farrah Abraham Posted Pictures of Her 7-Year-Old Daughter in a Bikini and Makeup, and the Internet Is Angry

The Internet is not happy with Farrah Abraham right now.

The Teen Mom OG star posted pictures to Instagram of her 7-year-old daughter Sophia in a bikini and a full face of makeup. Before you pass judgment, check out the photos below.

Abraham captioned the above picture, "Happy #sunday @rlsmodelsphotography God gave me an extraordinary young lady @sophialabraham I'm so blessed - excited to see all the great things flourish in Sophias life journey #blessed #beauty #photography."

In another shot, Sophia is wearing a bikini and posing with a straight face. "...can't wait for more of Sophia's model photos to be out!" Abraham captioned the shot.

Some of the 25-year-old reality star's followers think Sophia's pictures are flat-out inappropriate and exploitative.

"You are disgusting. Congrats on giving pedofiles [sic] something else to look at," one user wrote. "Ur sitting ur child up for all types of pervertef dirt ass men [sic]," wrote another.

So, do the users have a point? On the one hand, Sophia is 7 years old, and it is jarring to see her glammed up in such a non-7-year-old way. And if Abraham is doing this just to make a quick buck, that's also problematic.

But on the other hand, Abraham's intent was not to sexualize her child, and it might say something more about the people who think that. Pageant mothers have been doing something similar to their daughters for years, and it raises this same divisive debate. At the end of the day, Sophia is just being photographed wearing a swimsuit that was made for girls her age. Any sexual connotation users make could just be their problems (and perversions), not Abraham's.
