Rock 'n' roll is a dangerous business! Just ask Lady Gaga, who spent the better part of this spring laid up in a wheelchair after injuring her hip, resulting in the cancellation of her epic Born This Way tour. The surgery sounded pretty rough, but we didn't realize just how fearless Mother Monster truly is until she described the gruesome process in a recent interview!

"When we got all the MRI’s finished before I went to surgery there were giant craters, a hole in my hip the size of a quarter, and the cartilage was just hanging out the other side of my hip," she told Woman's Wear Daily. Oooof! Excuse us while we make faces/sounds like this forever. At least she's back in the saddle, with a new single "Applause" due out August 16th.
