All musicians need a little sparkle to prove to their hometown haters and friends that they're finally famous. And whether that's a belly chain or grill, real diamonds never go out of style — at least that's what Patron Saint of Bling Jennifer Lopez believes.

Don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got — or the celebratory concerts she holds for her friends from the block: J. Lo is a Hollywood diva through and through, and thus she deserves to frost herself with the most elite jewels money can buy. At the 2005 premiere of her film An Unfinished Life, VH1 asked Jenny how she stays so glamorous and whether or not sexy eyes are a thing that can be mastered with practice. Forget about who she's dating or when her album comes out (June 17!) and focus on those shimmering earrings and that turtleneck. At least she admits it was a mistake at the time?
