Pharrell's Reaction to Jenna Bush Confusing 'Hidden Figures' and 'Fences' is Priceless

Jenna Bush acknowledged her Golden Globes error in a tearful apology on the TODAY Show the following morning. “I’ve seen both movies, I thought they were both brilliant,” the TV host confessed. “It was a mistake… I am not perfect. I’m authentic, but a human. And what I didn’t want to do was make anybody feel lesser than who they are.”

Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former president George W. Bush, landed a gig as one of the hosts of the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet. A job of this magnitude comes with a lot of responsibilities, including researching everyone on the carpet and the names of the films they star in. Apparently, Jenna Bush could have used a refresher on the movie "Hidden Figures"...not to be confused with "Fences."

Jenna was tapped to interview Pharrell Williams, who produced the widely praised film. "So, you're nominated for Hidden Fences," Jenna says beginning the interview. The expression on Pharrell's face that followed was a hilarious combination of confusion, disappointment and a dash of "WTF?"

Lucky for Jenna, Pharrell handled the snafu like a G and did his best to minimize the awkwardness. But let this be a lesson to all future red carpet hosts...Google is your best friend in times like these.
