The Trailer for 'Finding Dory' Is More Perfect Than You Can Imagine
Your day is about to get infinitely better.
The kings and queens over at Disney/Pixar decided to give us Earthlings a present of oceanic proportions: The first trailer for Finding the Dory, the highly-anticipated sequel to Finding Nemo (2003). And it's even more perfect than we hoped.
Ellen DeGeneres returns as the lovable fish Dory, who now lives with Marlin (Albert Brooks) and his son Nemo (Hayden Rolence). We don't learn much plot-wise from this clip, but it's so exciting to see our aquatic friends back in action.
It all starts when pesky (and forgettable as always) Dory starts sleep-swimming to the frustration of Marlin and Nemo. The two clownfish put Lady D back to bed but then—bam!—she starts swimming again. Minus the sleep. WHERE IS SHE GOING?!
We're then #blessed with a montage of Dory trying (and failing) to remember various facts. Remember, she suffers from short-term memory loss. It runs in her family. Well, at least she thinks it does. Hmmm...where are they?
It feels like 2003, and we're so here for it. We're waiting on the edge of our coral reefs for the next trailer. (The film drops June 2016.) Let us know what you think in the comments!
