Bruno Mars won big at this year's Grammy Awards, taking home the Best Pop Vocal Album for 2012's Unorthodox Jukebox. He'll be filling your Sunday TV screens and Twitter feeds again this weekend, as the official Super Bowl Halftime Show performer. He's huge on stage, yes, but have you seen him off-screen?
Thanks to a now-viral photo of Mars and Taylor Swift from the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, the world has been clued in to how short Mars is compared to some of music's other premier performers. And, we now know how many A-List Amazons there are, as well as female stars who risk their lives with dangerously high heels. This takes nothing away from his talent, but makes for humorous photo montages and presentation pairings. And he's in good company! At 5 feet 2 inches, Kevin Hart has been enjoying the view from atop the box office standings for weeks. Thanks, Ride Along!
Height aside, Mars has already surpassed some of his peers with two successful solo albums in less than four years. And at 28, he's the youngest Super Bowl Halftime performer in a decade. We can't wait to see what he has in store for Sunday's big show (real gorillas getting down on stage?!) and most importantly, what he does with his hair. Until then, enjoy a look at Bruno and his super tall friends, and firm up your stance on stilettos.
