Jada Pinkett Smith's Kids Gave Her the Most Beautiful Messages During VH1's 'Dear Mama'
Queen Jada Pinkett Smith is getting honored at VH1's Dear Mama event, which airs this Sunday, May 8 at 9 PM/8c. Her whole family attended the soirée, including her children Willow, Jaden and Trey. And after you hear the beautiful things they said about their mother, you'll insist they get an immediate curfew extension.
"Whenever I have a problem or something I feel like I can't figure out, I'm always like, 'What would mommy do?'" Willow said in a pre-taped video for Jada. "How would she approach this situation? What would Jada do?" And, just like that, "WWJD?" has an entirely new meaning.
And her bro Trey also got in on the mushiness. "I'm so blessed to have you as my bonus mother in my life," he said. (Trey is father Will's son from another marriage.) "Thank you for being you."
Jaden gave a super sweet speech, too. "I wouldn't be the way that I am with you," he said. "...It's not a feeling, it's the living of my life."
But it was Jada's husband Will's speech on stage during Dear Mama that might be the most memorable. "Watching the piece with the kids--it just takes me back to when we made them," he said. Ow, ow!
