Movie: Dangerous Liasons

Set in 18th century France, Annie reimagined the classic '80s film about passion and deception for "Walking On Broken Glass." The mellow tune and tender message definitely fit the tone of her elaborate video.

“Material Girl” – Madonna

Movie: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Decked out in a floor-length pink dress and Marilyn Monroe's signature hair, this pop diva did a nearly-identical remake of the famous "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" scene as she crooned about only loving a man for his money.

Alicia picked the perfect movie to accompany her tale of young love. Similar to the main characters from the film, Dap and Rachel, Alicia fell for her man because she admired his activism and he admired her beauty.

Movie: Scarface

Drake's acting skills reappear in this video as he dons a white suit and revives the classic role of Tony Montana. Much like the original, this video has lot of action, famous actors, and beautiful women. What's not to love?

“South Side” – Lloyd ft. Ashanti

Movie: A Bronx Tale

Starting from the intro, where Lloyd is explaining his love for a girl that his "family" may not accept, to the credits that label the video as an "ATL Tale," the Murder Inc. crew do their best to align this story with that of the popular '90s film.

“Stacey’s Mom” – Fountains of Wayne

Movie: Fast Times At Ridgemont High

The little boy in this video basically embodies every male attending Ridgemont High, but the scene in which Stacy's mom models that famous itsy-bitsy red bikini tells us exactly who Linda Barrett is.

“Everlong” – Foo Fighters

Movie: Evil Dead

To go along with the tortured love that the lyrics of "Everlong" relay, the band recreated Sam Raimi's '80s horror classic for the music video. Luckily, they included a lot less blood and gore and replaced it with one really big hand.

“Dope Hat” – Marilyn Manson

Movie: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Only slightly creepier than the original film, Marilyn Manson conjured up his darkest Willa Wonka for this twisted video. The kids ride down a tunnel of blood as opposed to chocolate, and his oompa loompas are singing about anguish and pain as opposed to ethical puzzles.

“California Love” – Tupac ft. Dr. Dre

Movie: Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

Tupac and Dr. Dre turned Oakland into the desert from Mad Max for this California anthem. The action-packed video ended up being arguably more popular than the actual film.

“Body Movin’” – Beastie Boys

Movie: Danger: Diabolik

While everyone could tell that this video alluded to some movie, most people couldn't figure out which it was. Why not? Because the boys took it international and based this hit off of an Italian spy film.

“Mesmorize” – Ja Rule ft. Ashanti

Movie: Grease

It seems that the Murder Inc. crew loves molding their videos after movies, as they return for a second time on this list. Ashanti and Ja Rule recreate the infamous last scene of Grease, but instead of riding off into the sky as Danny and Sandy miraculously do, Ashanti rides off in a van with Ja and his crew. It's less romantic—but hey, it’s a modern take.

“I Love My Chick” – Busta Rhymes ft. Will.I.Am and Kelis

Movie: Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Busta Rhymes and Gabrielle Union spiced up the screen with their reenactment of staple scenes from Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The video opens with the two leads sitting in couples therapy, bickering just as humorously as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie do in the original.
