It's Deeper Than Purses: Tokyo Opens Up to Melissa About Struggling to Tame Her Anger Issues

"B--ch I love myself the way I am. But it don't give people the right to be mean and hateful."

Tokyo Vanity may have introduced Spice's face to her purse at warp speed, but she says she tried very hard to keeping things from going left.

In an emotional conversation with Melissa at the ranch, Tokyo reveals that she's worked very hard to not be the girl she used to be. Spice and Tokyo got off on a bad note right from the very beginning. But as it turns out, Spice's shady behavior wasn't motivated by pettiness - it was the result of Karlie stirring the pot. Tokyo has made it clear time and time again that her issue is 100% with Tabius, but Karlie has apparently been feeding Spice a different story...and Tokyo is beyond over it. "If that's what you wanna do, then stay the f*ck from 'round me."

Melissa understands where Tokyo is coming from, but she's still not letting her off the hook for going upside Spice's head with her purse. Tokyo is equally disappointed in herself for letting Spice's jabs about her weight get the best of her. "It took me a long time to detach violence from my name," Tokyo says as she's explaining her growth. "You think I ain't never heard a fat joke before? B--ch I love myself the way I am. But it don't give people the right to be mean and hateful."

Amen to that! Watch the rest of the clip above and don't miss next week's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Monday at 8/7c only on VH1.
