Cardi B's Divorce Is Not Even The Biggest Thing That Happened To Her This Week
Yes, Cardi B has officially said "I'm done" to her one-year marriage to Offset. But the sad news isn't keeping her from living her life like it's golden.
First off, Ms. Bodak Yellow has a lot to celebrate after scoring not one, not two but an astounding FIVE Grammy nominations.
Here's what she's up for:
Album Of The Year for Invasion of Privacy
Record Of The Year for “I Like It,” Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Girls Like You,” with Maroon 5
Best Rap Album for Invasion Of Privacy
Best Rap Performance for "Be Careful"
Cardi also just shot the music video to "Twerk" with the City Girls in Miami and had a super lit mommy's night out while in town. Here she is turning up (without her wedding ring) with the likes of Teyana Taylor, Bobby Lytes of Love & Hip Hop Miami and a few of her homegirls.
Now that she's back in her hometown of New York City, Cardi has closed some other dramatic chapters to her life.
The rapper appeared in court this morning, Dec. 7, for her alleged strip club brawl and left with some rather good news, according to TMZ. The judge, who had previously threatened to issue a warrant for her arrest for being a no-show, released her with no bail. The Bardi was also warned not to have any contact (in person or social media) with Baddi G and Jade, the two bartenders claiming they were attacked.
On top of all this, it seems Cardi has cleared the air with one of Offset's rumored mistresses. Rapper Cuban Doll said she and Cardi had a grown woman conversation to set things straight. "It's a bunch of clout chasing stuff, and my name's caught in the middle of it," Cuban told TMZ. "Cardi hit me up. She knows I have nothing to do with that."
Last (and certainly not least), Cardi pretty much made our week by sharing with us her greatest blessing to date - a never-before-seen photo of her adorable baby girl Kulture. As shared by her mommy before, she bears a striking resemblance to her aunt Hennessy.
Life is full of highs and lows, but we're glad things are looking mostly up for our girl. Keep up the amazing work, Belcalis!
