Have Mercy, John Stamos Is Getting a Full House of His Own

Everyone's favorite TV uncle is going to be a real life dad!

John Stamos has been a heart throb for 30 years since he first entered our lives as Uncle Jesse on Full House. He was fine, fun and always very chill despite dealing with DJ, Stephanie and Michelle's nonsense.

All of those years as TV's coolest uncle (and ultimately dad) will finally pay off for him because he's going to be a dad for the first time at 54.

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Stamos announced that he and his fiancée, Caitlin McHugh, were expecting their first child. John and Caitlin, who have been a couple for 2 years, had discussed having a child before getting married and when he asked her why, his 31-year-old girlfriend replied, "Because you're old!"

Stamos, who's previously said he wanted kids but felt the time had passed. He was so excited when he found out that Caitlin was pregnant that he felt like the timing was perfect and asked her family if he could marry her. He took her to Disneyland and proposed.

Seriously, they are so cute together.

Sure, a lot is happening for Stamos pretty quickly. But he knows he's already very prepared, "I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a long time. I’ve done every schtick you can do with a baby on TV … all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll probably just do all that stuff.”

Congrats are definitely in order and now we just have to wait patiently to see if this baby gets its dad's phenomenal head of perfect hair.

Also expecting their first child together is Cyn Santana and Joe Budden. Cyn stopped by VH1 to talk to us about what the highs and lows of her first pregnancy.
