Drew Elliott Thinks Ivana Thomas Was Eliminated From 'America's Next Top Model' Because She Was Never Comfortable in Her Own Shoes
This week on America's Next Top Model, we said hello to model makeovers and goodbye to another hopeful. Panelist Drew Elliott sat down with the woman who is no longer in the competition to find out if she has any regrets, hear who she thinks is the toughest judge, and get her take on the competition.
It looks like this model didn't feel comfortable in her own shoes. No, literally. She is a size 12 and was rocking a pair of size 10 shoes during her photoshoot this week. But Drew Elliott thinks that, beyond the physical discomfort of her actual shoes, this contestant just never looked like she was comfortable or confident with herself.
That's because Ivana Thomas wasn't sure that she was necessarily fit for the competition. She moved from an academic environment (she's a model with a masters degree, y'all) to a competition where she felt "like [she] was in a movie the whole time. Like it didn't feel real..."
Drew felt like she came into the strong, but that she started to retreat into her shell once the competition began. He asks her if she wishes that she had opened up more, but Ivana doesn't seem to have any regrets because she wasn't looking to make connections with girls who just wanted her gone. It is a competition after all...
We wonder who will be the next to go? You'll have to tune in to America's Next Top Model, Tuesdays at 9/8c to find out.
The models receive Tyra-Mail detailing their upcoming new trademark looks. But is everyone excited about their new do?
