A Guide to Floyd Mayweather's Strange Connection to Reality TV
Floyd Mayweather is no reality TV star, but his connection with the genre is far more stronger than one would think. From dating Princess Love, to his short-lived bromance with Ray J, to beefing with T.I. you'd think he'd have his own VH1 show by now. There's a strange connection between the boxer and reality TV stars that has low-key been overlooked, and we want to dive straight in. Take a look at our guide to Floyd's relationships with reality celebs and try to make sense of it all.
Tiny Harris
Tiny Harris and Floyd were rumored to be secretly dating after photos and videos surfaced of the two partying and posing for photos together. This would launch the feud between Tiny's husband T.I. and Mayweather leading to their viral Fat Burger brawl in 2014.
After the physical altercation between the rapper and boxing champ, Mayweather explained to NecoleBitchie.com, “I been knowing Tiny before T.I. I’ve never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way." There's more to this drama coming up.
T.I.
Floyd's relationship with T.I. has been a rollercoaster ride. As referenced above, two years ago, the two got into a brawl at a Fat Burger after a photo released by the rapper's wife Tiny posing with the champs daughter at a birthday party. The two would go onto squash the beef, until Tiny was seen taking a photo with Floyd at a Halloween party last year.
The feud rekindled and the two have been sending each other social media shade ever since. Two months ago, T.I. posted a video where he was heard laughing at Kevin Hart jokes regarding Floyd Mayweather Sr. That cause the internet to jump and eventually forcing Floyd to clap back at trolls. There was also called out the boxer for his comment on "All Lives Matter." Can we all get along?
Nikki Mudarris
The Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star tried to shoot her shot at Money Mayweather over an Instagram live stream last month. She chimed into his session with three rather thirsty tongue emojis for the champ that has us wondering: Is this her attempt at flirting with the Floyd or is there a secret fling happening under our noses?
Masika Kalysha
Mudarris isn't the only reality star to try and make a move on Floyd. A couple weeks ago, Masika Kalysha also tried sliding into his IG live chat with a simple, "Hey Floyd," followed by a tongue-wagging, silly-face emoji. Hmm... We need answers.
Donald Trump
Who knew Floyd would turn out to be a Donald Trump supporter after POTUS shared his lack of support for the boxing champ during a match in 2014? Mayweather and the former star of Celebrity Apprentice have recently showed love to each other on social media. Floyd even attended Trump's inauguration telling TMZ, "Barack Obama was a good president and hopefully, Donald Trump is a good president."
Princess Love
The Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star dated Floyd Mayweather back in 2013 before she was exposed for cheating on him with Ray J. 50 Cent brought the fling to light by telling Floyd and all of the Internet, via a series of Instagram photos. 50 also accused her of going after Floyd just for his money, which resulted in speculation that Princess Love was responsible for a robbery at Floyd’s house, which took place around that time. Shortly after that, Ray and the Love became an official item, and would go on to star in the reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. However, that didn't stop the love-triangle from creeping back up during the show. When arguing over exes, Love brought up Floyd to her boo, which quickly resulted in her falling in a pool. Rule #1: Never bring up exes.
Ray J
Before Ray J stole Mayweather's girl, the two were good friends. The R&B singer turned reality star was once part of Floyd's famous "Money Team." Their most popular bromance moment came during a 24/7 HBO documentary promoting Floyd's upcoming fight against Victor Ortiz in 2011. Ray J made an unforgettable cameo performing a very awkward and questionable "concert" in the boxers house. Watch above. That musical moment was the spark for a scuffle between Ray J and Fabolous following the Mayweather fight.
Erica Dixon
In 2013, rumors floated around that Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star Erica Dixon was dating Floyd Mayweather during split with Lil Scrappy. When asked to shed light on the fling the reality star quickly shut down all relationship gossip stating, "I don't know this man. I don't know why people keep asking me this. Who is Floyd Mayweather?" Watch above.
Revisit that moment when Ray J lets go of Princess, literally.
