'Teen Mom 2' Baes Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin Have Called It Quits
Just when things were starting to get serious between Teen Mom 2's Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin, the pair decided that the best option was to end the relationship.

If you aren't familiar with the backstory, Briana and Javi linked up back in October and started dropping hints on the 'gram close to the Teen Mom reunion. Javi is the ex-husband of Briana's fellow Teen Mom co-star Kailyn Lowry (Javi and Kailyn share a four-year-old son). Kailyn obviously wasn't a big fan of them hooking up. Now that Briana and "Daddy Javi" are no more, Kailyn is choosing not to be petty.
“It’s none of my business, so my mouth is closed," Lowry told Us Weekly. "I wish Javi the best, as always."
Briana, on the other hand, has a lot more to say on the breakup. In an exclusive statement to Blasting News, the reality star and mom of two says they are very specific reasons why her relationship with Javi no longer made sense.
“Javi and I are not together anymore. Our future just doesn’t line up. He doesn’t want me to get my surgery for a breast lift, lipo, and tummy tuck (which I’m doing in two weeks) because it’ll look bad on his name at work," she claims. "Also, I don’t plan on moving in with him in the summer and for these reasons, he broke up with me.” She goes on to say, “I have no bad things to say to about him. He wanted a wife and home right now and I didn’t see a reason to rush. I wish him the best going forward, and I am sad things panned out this way, but this is where things currently stand."
Javi's statement seems to conflict Briana's claim that the breakup was his choice. He told Radar Online that he "wasn’t expecting this at all." According to him the relationship with Briana was the only thing holding him together before his Air Force deployment.
Breakups are hard, but at least things didn't end on nasty terms.
