PALLADIA UNLEASHES EXCLUSIVE NEW MUSIC PERFORMANCES WITH SEASON PREMIERES OF “LIVE FROM DARYL’S HOUSE” AND “LATER …WITH JOOLS HOLLAND” ON THURSDAY, APRIL 30

(NEW YORK, NY) - April 13, 2015 Palladia, Viacom’s high-definition music channel, refreshes its spring line-up with new seasons of fan-favorite performance series Live From Daryl’s House and “Later…With Jools Holland” on Thursday, April 30. 

Musical spontaneity takes the wheel as the season premiere of Live from Daryl’s House kicks off Thursday, April 30th at 9 PM ET/PT. Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer Daryl Hall gets together with legendary vocalist Sammy “The Red Rocker” Hagar on location at the Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, creating memorable live musical moments fans will love on the 69th and latest episode of the critically acclaimed, award-winning, web-to-cable series.

This season line-up of artists on Live From Daryl’s House will feature:

·         Live From Daryl’s House: Sammy Hagar premieres Thursday, April 30th at 9 PM

·         Live From Daryl’s House: Ben Folds premieres Thursday, May 7th at 9 PM

·         Live From Daryl’s House: Kandace Springs premieres Thursday, May 14th at 9 PM

The past eight years have marked a steady stream of superlatives and recognition for Live from Daryl’s House, with Hall receiving a Webby Award for Best Variety series from more than 10,000 entries at the 14th annual ceremony at N.Y.’s Cipriani Wall Street before garnering an O Music Award from MTV.

The 68 previous episodes of Live From Daryl’s House have featured a mix of well-known performers like Billy Gibbons, Gavin DeGraw, Darius Rucker, Amos Lee, Brett Dennen, Johnnyswim, Jason Mraz, Cee Lo Green, Shelby Lynne, Joe Walsh, Booker T Jones, Rob Thomas, Train, Smokey Robinson, Toots Hibbert, Todd Rundgren, Keb Mo, Dave Stewart, Goo Goo Dolls’ John Rzeznik and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump along with newcomers such as Minus The Bear, Rumer, Chiddy Bang, Allen Stone, Nikki Jean, The Dirty Heads, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Mayer Hawthorne, Parachute, Plain White T’s, soul diva Sharon Jones, Diane Birch, Fitz & the Tantrums, Neon Trees and Guster.

The legendary BBC series Later…With Jools Holland is back for more with seven all-new episodes premiering on Thursday, April 30th at 10PM ET/PT on PalladiaJools welcomes a new array of musical artists to the show including:  Blur, Laura Marling, The Vaccines, Songhoy Blues, Natalie Prass, Davina and The Vagabonds and Marc Almond.

The show’s unique format features five-six artists sharing one big stage in front of a raucous studio audience, while host Jools Holland steers the action from performance to performance, interviewing the stars and sharing stories about the songs along the way.  The magic of the series comes from the surprising combinations of featured artists, which has showcased a diverse talent line-up in-the-past including Adele, The Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Neil Diamond, The Killers, Florence + The Machine, Mary J. Blige, Sting, Robert Plant, Jack White, Norah Jones, Jay-Z, Paul McCartney, Sting, Metallica and countless others.  Besides showcasing the best episodes from the show’s unmatched catalogue, Palladia will present the US television premiere of new episodes of the series in conjunction with their BBC premieres.

In addition, four episodes of each series will be available via most U.S. cable providers on Palladia On Demand beginning May 1.
