Last Lap: Why Is Nas Being Sued For $10 Million?

An Amy Winehouse documentary is set to make moves in Cannes, Chris Brown creates the ultimate toy for big boys, and Mac Miller's new video features a special guest.

  • A New Jersey concert promoter is suing Nas for breach of contract, more than a year after the rapper didn't show for New Year's Eve 2012 appearances in Angola. Promoter Patrick Allocco and his son were held in the African country for 49 days and are suing for $10 million. Nas admits he agreed to appear, but was never given any information on flights and accommodations, so he headed to Miami instead. [NJ.com]
  • Amy Winehouse's talent will live on through a currently untitled documentary. Filmmaker Asif Kapadia has partnered with Universal Music to pitch the project to buyers next month in Cannes. [The Hollywood Reporter]
  • Chris Brown can now count himself among the least inconspicuous celebrities ever. The singer took his Lamborghini to West Coast Customs in Los Angeles and requested a paint job that turned his ride into a life-sized Hot Wheels car. [Daily Mail]
  • Tonight on MTV2 at 10:54 PM, Mac Miller debuts his latest video. Keep your eyes peeled for a cameo from a special guest (think former child star). Peep the preview below.
