Is there still hope for these two??

[During the finale,] Kerri was in a tough spot because throughout the season she definitely had strong feelings for me, whereas I kept my feelings open, so it wasn’t really fair to her to not portray my feelings all along. After I figured it out in the end, I shared with her. So I don’t think she prepared for that, you know? Such is life, such is life. So I wasn’t really surprised [that she didn't choose me], you know, she had been gauging what I was feeling and made her decision based upon what was better for her. She opened herself up to Mason who was clearly interested, and I can’t hold that against her. In fact, I am proud of her for doing that because at the time it was a better decision for her and I think he is a great guy. I didn’t know [that he had a girlfriend at home] until after the show, I was kinda surprised about that. He seemed like a guy with a good character and I mean, why would you come back to a show that --- it's a dating show, it doesn’t add up, it doesn’t make sense. You don't go on a date with somebody if you already got a girlfriend. Right. It’s unfaithful, it speaks for itself, it says something about his character.

If Kerri had chosen me, I'd be in Tampa swimming with the sharks right now! Actually, I don’t know…it’s tricky. That’s a difficult question because, you know, we both have our careers, we both have established our personal lives as well as our professional lives and I just happen to be on the opposite side of the country, so, you know, it’s tough. These are all so hypothetical, it would have created a long distance relationship and I think that everybody knows how difficult those are, so, I mean, I can’t say what would have happened because I don’t know. Of everyone in the cast I still talk to Kerri the most, every couple of weeks, depending on schedules. We definitely bounce life issues off of each other and she'll call me up with advice on something and vice versa, some definitely deeper conversations, you know, it’s not just small talk, more like "This thing is happening in my life, what would you recommend? What would you do?" So we keep in touch on a pretty meaningful level, you know, we kinda established a deeper relationship, a very close friendship. Our relationship [is not something we talk about] as much as we talk about things that are happening in each other’s lives and, at the end of the day, I think without talking about our relationship, that says a lot about our relationship.

In the moment below, watch the painful moment when Kerri chooses Mason instead of Chris.
