When asked about the success of the Love & Hip Hop franchise, Mona couldn't be more grateful! She said that she had no idea that it would get this big, and it just keeps growing! Mona relayed that when the first season began, they intended to tell new stories and bring something completely different to television. After watching the very first episode, she knew they had something great!

"There are so many cities we'd love to expand into!"

With the franchise constantly expanding, it's no surprise that Mona wants to add new cities to the list! She explained that they held a casting recently in Houston and in New Orleans, but for now Miami is the only expansion she's ready to tell us about. But, she also said, "You never know!" The series could even go international!

"We're definitely excited to continue to expand with the network!"

Love & Hip Hop Miami is taking on Wednesday nights starting in January, giving you two full nights of Love & Hip Hop realness! Mona said what makes Miami special is the hot topics it addresses, and she's sure there will be plenty more where that came from for season 2! She added that new cast members Jessie Woo and Khaotic already had relationships with a good bit of the cast, so their transition to the show should be seamless!

"I definitely am out there pitching things to OWN!"

Rumor has it that Mona's getting into scripted television, and she's here to address the hot gossip! Mona said she's pitching content to OWN, stating that Oprah is the "holy grail." Mona said she hopes to produce projects outside of reality television like documentaries and scripted shows. So it seems like the rumors are true -- Mona Scott-Young's got some irons in some fictional fires, y'all! Look out, 2019, here Mona comes!

"Eventually I think I might want to put down some anecdotes."

Mona's already written one book, and now she's ready for another! Blurred Lines came out just this year, but she's already got new stories to tell the world. Whether it's tips and tricks for the industry, or experiences she's shared with others, Mona's not leaving the rest unwritten. She's gonna get down to business and give it to us!
