K.Michelle is out here grinding, and people are taking notice, namely the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers aka ASCAP.
The singer/songwriter was recognized earlier this week by ASCAP for their sixth annual ASCAP presents, "Women Behind the Music," series held in Los Angeles, along with Billboard’s Senior Editor, Gail Mitchell, and Motown Record’s Vice President of Creative Relations, Myisha Brooks as notable women making an impact in the community.
Love & Hip Hop Hollywood cast members Teairra Mari, Morgan Hardman, and Ray J were in the building showing their support, along with Love & Hip Hop creator Mona Scott Young.
