This Serial Parody Video Is More Addictive Than the Podcast

Serial, the wildly popular podcast, returns today from its Thanksgiving hiatus. But before listening to the latest episode, check out the new parody heating up the Internet.

The clip below is a spot-on rendition, complete with a MailChimp ad and eerie staccato intro music. Theater actress Kate Wetherhead plays host Sarah Koenig, who’s investigating a new murder. It’s clear who did the crime, but Koenig digs deeper. She doesn't find much, but for viewers, the results are hilarious.
