Creed's Scott Stapp Says the Theory of Evolution Is "a Figment of Someone's Imagination"

Creed's Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn are working through marital issues on Couples Therapy but Scott's not 100% down with all the treatments that are under way in the house.

When the couples are given DNA tests to check their compatibility, Scott and Jaclyn's results come back at 25%, making them the least compatible pair in the house. The duo feel defeated but Scott's resistance to science is shocking when he says, "It's all still based on theory...It's about as legit as the theory of evolution," he says with a wry grin, "It's all a figment of someone's imagination."

When the biomedical engineer offers to share all the scientific publications that support the compatibility study, Stapp dismisses it (and presumably evolution) as "science fiction, man."
