Paris Jackson Has Words For Wendy Williams Who Thinks It's "Cute" That She Identifies As Black

Paris Jackson had a little time today.

Paris Jackson isn't here for the slander.

Michael Jackson's middle child swiftly clapped back at Wendy Williams, who made some unsavory remarks about the Jackson family and Paris's recent Rolling Stone cover during her controversial "Hot Topics" segment. The TV host and former shock jock started off by questioning Paris' credibility to grace the cover of such a prestigious publication. While she calls the interview "interesting", Wendy is of the opinion that being the child of the world's biggest entertainer isn't enough to warrant a cover story.

"She has not made her mark on her own," Williams chided during her segment. "You cannot be on the cover of one of the most prestigious entertainment and influential magazines in the world and just be the daughter of and tell your story inside."

Wendy then addressed another controversial tidbit from Paris' article where she identifies as an African-American woman. Though Paris acknowledged that her fair skin tone and blue eyes are uncharacteristic of her race, she claims that her father always instilled in her that she was black and there was never reason to think he would lie to her.

The talk show host joked sarcastically that this now makes Paris the first black woman to be on the cover of Rolling Stone in a year.

"I get that she considers herself black and everything, but I'm just talking about the visual because you know ... black is not what you call yourself, it's what the cops see when they got steel to your neck on the turnpike. It's what they see," Williams said. "But that's cute and good for her."

After getting wind of the comments, Paris took to Twitter to question why the Wendy is so obsessed with her family.

In response to Wendy's comments about her race, Paris responded to a fan in a now deleted tweet saying "Well she didn't birth me so..."

To set the record straight once and for all, Paris wants you to know that she said what she said and no further comments will be given to the press from her or members of her family trying to pry for information on who her biological parents are.
