Last night, the ladies of TLC walked the red carpet for the premiere of CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, and VH1 News got a chance to speak to T-Boz and Chilli about one young musician that none of us can escape these days, Miley Cyrus. Their message to Miley? "Keep twerkin'."

While Chilli offered some motherly advice to Miley in the way of keeping good, supportive people around her, T-Boz wanted Miley to know that it's cool to break out of the Disney mold. "Let's be real, girls have been naked and doing stuff like this, twerkin' --- it's just a different name for gyratin', booty-shakin', they just change the name, people been doing it since the end of time, why are they riding Miley so hard about what a lot of them have been doing the same thing? She's coming out with good music, she's doing her thing, it's selling, and evidently the twerk is not stopping the record sales." Spoken like a woman who knows a thing or two about the music business.
