Adele Doing Spice Girls and Nicki Minaj Karaoke Is All You Need in Life
Adele singing her own songs is enough to bring you to tears. But Adele doing Spice Girls fare doesn't even feel real. It is pure magic.
James Corden knew this. That's why the Late Late Show host called the multiple Grammy-winner up on holiday in London for a little singing-in-the-car action. He featured it Wednesday night on his show, and it is everything you could ask for--and more.
Not only did they sing some of Adele's classic tunes, they dove into "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls--Adele revealed the first time she was heartbroken was when Geri Halliwell left the group--and Nicki Minaj's verse on Kanye West's track "Monster." Yup. The "Hello" singer can rap, and even Nicki noticed. Check out what she tweeted last night.
Other fun facts we learned for James and Adele's 14+-minute drive? Adele played the drums on "Hello," and she got hella-drunk over Christmas weekend. Praise this queen.
