Michael Blanco of 'Cartel Crew' Tells Us What Its Like Being Raised By a Drug Kingpin

Michael remembers enjoying movies, amusement parks and family time just like any other kid. Unlike other children, however, Griselda would rent out the entire movie theater just to ensure privacy and safety (plus, why not when you're raking in millions per week?). Despite the obvious demands of her life, Griselda was a very involved mother. She once took Michael to Sea World three times in one weekend just to see that smile on his face. Family gatherings were no different. Michael remembers Griselda making his favorite Colombian soup and throwing huge parties in their mansion.

Though they weren't a typical family, Michael, his mom and his brothers lived life to the fullest. "We make light of everything that's dark," he recalls. "My mom behind those doors was mommy. She was my love."
