A High School Musical star gets quite a scare, America Ferrara finishes college...after 10 years, and a special (animal) guest may pop up tonight on New Girl.

Reports out of the UK —which, we must say, can rarely be trusted— claim that Will and Jada Smith's eldest child, son Jaden, wants to be emancipated from his parents. He's only 15, but that's clearly old enough to have learned that parents just don't understand. [NYDN]

Police have opened an investigation into a fan who tweeted Disney star Ashley Tisdale more than 18,000 times. The messages, some of which expressed undying love, appeared to come from a male Twitter follower. The fan allegedly also showed up at Tisdale's home. [TMZ]

When you're busy starring in Emmy-winning series and Hollywood films, it's hard to keep your nose in the books. But that didn't deter Ugly Betty actress America Ferrera, who can now add "college graduate" to her long list of honors. [E!]
