Chris Brown Addresses the Rihanna Assault Incident Head On in Emotional Trailer for 'Welcome to My Life'

Chris Brown has dropped the first trailer for his upcoming documentary, Welcome to My Life. The documentary is directed by Andrew Sandler and intends to explore the tumultuous past and complicated public image of Brown.

The trailer starts off by resisting his rise to fame with celebrity guest appearances from the likes of Usher, Jennifer Lopez and Rita Ora sharing their experiences with young Chris. Then we dive straight into his relationship with Rihanna which almost landed him in prison and sent him down a spiraling path to never-ending drama. Brown says he felt like a monster after his assault on the pop star. The media attention even had him considering killing himself.

Brown hasn’t announced the documentary release date yet, but we'll be sure to keep a look out for when it does. More guests to appear in the documentary include Mike Tyson, Terrence J, Mary J. Blige and DJ Khaled. Watch the trailer below.
