Kanye West Named One Of TIME Magazine's '100 Most Influential People in the World'
You have to be pretty influential to get complete strangers to jump in a lake for absolutely no reason. Time Magazine obviously shares our sentiment because Kanye West graces the cover of this year's "100 Most Influential People in the World" issue. The highly-influential rapper, designer, and activist shares this year's honor with such names as Bradley Cooper, Taylor Swift, wifey Kim Kardashian, and more.

For this glorious occasion, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk cooked up a profile piece on the cultural icon entitled "Boundry Breaker" — describing what sets Ye apart from the pack."He’s not afraid of being judged or ridiculed in the process. Kanye’s been playing the long game all along, and we’re only just beginning to see why." The profile is accompanied by a short video of Kanye explaining as to why he doesn't care about his legacy, his early beginnings as a producer, and his fight for positioning in the fashion world.
"Every time I say something that's extremely truthful out loud, it literally breaks the internet," he says while pondering his influential place in our culture. "So what are we getting all of the rest of the time." *mic drop* While he claims he doesn't care about leaving a fame-filled legacy, what matters to him is looking out for each other and building a better life for our children. "We were born into a broken world and we're the clean up crew."

Kanye isn't the first rapper to bless the Time 100 — his big homie Jay Z appeared on the cover back in 2013. By the looks of things, Yeezy may have caught some inspiration from big brother for his cover as well.
