KK Wants Answers After Finding Out That Scrapp's Release From Prison Is Delayed
It's been more than two years since Karen King aka KK has been able to hug and kiss her incarcerated son Scrapp. Unfortunately it's looking she'll have to wait even longer than she planned.
In this Love & Hip Hop Atlanta scene, KK meets with Scrapp's bail bondsman to get an update on his scheduled release. She is shocked and downright pissed to learn that he won't be considered for early release until at least July 2019. Scrapp was only supposed to serve two out of his five year sentence, but that seems to be out of the questions as of now. KK says the parole board has already taken steps indicating that his release would be soon, including blood tests and home visits.
Scrapp calls KK and he learns the disappointing news. None of this makes sense to him either, since he's kept a clean record while in prison. "I'm in prison on a non-violent drug trafficking charge," Scrapp says over the phone. "They only want a third of the time." Scrapp's bail bondsman says his hands are tied, since his orders come from the court. One thing is for sure, KK is not going to give up without a fight.
