Remembering Bon Scott With His Dirtiest Deeds And Naughtiest AC/DC Songs

68 years ago today a wee bonnie lad was born in the small Scottish town of Forfar who would one day grow up and become one of the greatest rock n’ roll singers of all time. The lad’s name was Ronald Belford Scott but he’s better known us all as Bon Scott, original vocalist of Australian hard rock legends AC/DC. Before his untimely death in 1980, Bon earned a reputation for living life to the extreme and indulging liberally in the unholy trinity of sex, drugs and rock n’ roll. OK, that’s not totally fair to say. He liked drinking way more than drugs. But a cursory examination of the Bon-era AC/DC songbook shows his affection for sex and rock n’ roll to be off the charts. Especially sex. So while he long ago took the highway to hell to the great rock n’ roll party down below, let’s celebrate Bon Scott’s birthday today and crank up some of the filthiest songs in the AC/DC catalog.
