We heard it from the mouth of Thor, the nominations for the 86th Academy Awards are in, and as expected, American Hustle and Gravity are the biggest contenders this year --- with 10 nominations apiece --- and 12 Years a Slave is close behind with nine nods. Nebraska , Dallas Buyers Club and Captain Phillips (each with six nods) pulled ahead of early favorite The Wolf of Wall Street (five). Ellen DeGeneres will host the Oscars on Sunday, March 2.
