Remy Ma and Papoose's little miracle arrived on December 14. Papoose dropped the news that the baby was coming on Thursday night on what he dubbed "Golden Child Eve."
When baby girl came the next day, he and Remy announced the news on Instagram.
Remy captioned her announcement:
The Golden Child is here!!!
Thank you @papoosepapoose for making me the the happiest wife on the planet🥰 #BlackLove #RemAndPap #BabyMackie #ShesMADDDDcute😢
Papoose shared the same image to his Instagram account, writing "I found a new love!!! Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Thank you Queen @remyma She is beautiful!! Wowwwwwww THE GOLDEN Child IS HERE!!! #thegoldenchild 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Gonna continue, working on me. So I can be a great father. Happy."
He later wrote about his awe for his wife as she cares for the baby:
"After overcoming such a tough labor/delivery! My wife breast feeds our child, around the clock. I’m so amazed by her strength, courage & motherly touch. @remyma Thank you babe! This is all a dream come true! #thegoldenchild Daddy got you forever 🙏🏿🙏🏿 You are the definition of beauty."
The journey to conceive has been a long time coming. During season six of Love & Hip Hop, Remy was brave enough to share that she'd had a miscarriage. Luckily, Pap was there to support her through the whirlwinds of emotions that came with the loss while reminding her that there were still options for them to expand their family. The couple continued on their journey as Remy used to voice to be an advocate for women experiencing fertility issues.
The wait for their "golden child" didn't last long, however. Back in July, Remy and Pap shared photos from their vow renewal ceremony which also included a little extra-special announcement: Remy was four months pregnant. It's enough to make you shed a tear!
While pregnant, Remy had been glowing and absolutely working her maternity wardrobe. The couple soaked in every moment of this precious time, celebrating baby X's arrival with a '50s themed baby shower.
We couldn't be happier for Remy and Pap's little bundle of joy. Congrats you two!
