Sometimes opportunity is about being in the right place at the right time. In the latest sneak peek for The Breaks, DeeVee shoots his shot and gets thrown in the mix of a DJ contest at the New Music Seminar. After contestant DJ Prince Sid gets "caught up in a squabble" with the Lynch Mob, DeeVee seizes on the opportunity to fill the vacant spot. With some quick thinking and slick talk he's able to get the contest host, played by guest star Charlemagne Tha God, to let him into the exclusive battle for a $500 cash prize. Beyond the money and the coveted title of being recognized as one of the top deejays in New York the young producer has a chance to set himself up for bigger gains down the line.
