Emma Watson embraces the single life in 2014, Will Smith remembers James Avery, and fans wonder if there could be another Paranormal Activity movie on the way.

Following some very public flack about not having a black female cast member, Saturday Night Live is finally branching out and adding Sasheer Zamata to the lineup. The New York-based comedian is set to make her SNL debut on January 18. And not to pat ourselves on the back, but she was totally on our shortlist for African-American comedians who would kick butt on SNL. [Deadline]

Emma Watson is apparently a single woman. The Bling Ring star reportedly split from her college boyfriend months ago, but a rep for the actress is said to have confirmed the breakup. [Us Magazine]

Will Smith posted a brief Facebook tribute to James Avery, his Fresh Prince co-star who suddenly died last week. The After Earth star said that "every young man needs an Uncle Phil," and thanked the elder actor for his guidance. [Los Angeles Times]
