Grandma Knows Best: Alexis Skyy Sits Down With Her Grandma After The Tr3way Shooting

Alexis Skyy was worried about the legal problems and media attention surrounding Tr3way putting a hold on her career, but now, she's just worried about her life.

In this Love & Hip Hop New York highlight, Alexis heads over to her grandmother's apartment after a terrifying shooting involving Tr3way, Shotti, Tekashi and some of her other label mates. Obviously her first thought in the moments after the incident were about sweet little Alaiya. If anything had happened to her at that lunch, her grandmother would have been left alone to raise the now one-year-old.

Her grandma tells her that she needs to be more careful when it comes to social media and posting her location all of the time. It's hard, though, when that is how Alexis makes her money to support her daughter. It's definitely a double-edged sword, but at the end of the day she has to make sure that she is around for her baby girl. In the words of Alexis' grandma, "You are blessed to be alive and you gotta live for your daughter."
